Crossroads certain travel and fifth wheel trailers have improperly installed furnace exhaust vents.
The short version
CROSSROADS RV reported a problem with the lpg systems furnace. Here is what owners need to know.
CERTAIN TRAVEL AND FIFTH WHEEL TRAILERS HAVE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED FURNACE EXHAUST VENTS.
IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR LACK OF THE FURNACE EXHAUST VENT WILL ALLOW THE EXHAUST FUMES, CONTAINING COMBUSTION PRODUCTS INCLUDING HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF CARBON MONOXIDE GAS, TO ENTER INTO THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AND COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH TO OCCUPANTS OF THE TRAILER.
OWNERS/DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FURNACE EXHAUST VENT AND, IF NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED, THE DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE EXHAUST VENT FREE OF CHARGE.
