The short version
AUTOCAR, LLC reported a problem with the seats. Here is what owners need to know.
ON CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY CLASS 8 XPEDITOR TRUCKS, SOME OF THE SEAT BASE MOUNTING FASTENERS THAT SECURE THE SEAT BASE TO THE CAB FLOOR BRACKET MAY HAVE BEEN LEFT LOOSE OR NOT INSTALLED AT ALL. IMPROPERLY TORQUED SEAT-MOUNTING FASTENERS MAY ALLOW MOVEMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT WHILE HE/SHE IS OPERATING THE VEHICLE.
THIS MOVEMENT COULD RESULT IN A TEMPORARY LOSS OF CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPAIR THE VEHICLE, free of charge.
