Starcraft Rv in the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.
The short version
STARCRAFT RV, INC. reported a problem with the mechanical integrated jack/leveler/stabilizer. Here is what owners need to know.
IN THE PRESENCE OF MOISTURE, A REMOTE ACTIVATION MODULE FOR THE LEVELING JACK MAY ACTIVATE AUTONOMOUSLY WITHOUT THE USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL.
IF THE JACK WERE TO ACTIVATE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING TOWED, IT COULD RESULT IN A CRASH LEADING TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, INJURY, OR DEATH.
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A RELAY WHICH WILL PREVENT THE REMOTE MODULE FROM SELF-ACTIVATING IN THE PRESENCE OF MOISTURE, free of charge.
