Ducati fuel lines contain MICRO-CRACKING due to insufficient drying of raw materials prior to extrusion.
The short version
DUCATI NORTH AMERICA reported a problem with the delivery hoses, lines/piping, and fittings. Here is what owners need to know.
THE FUEL LINES CONTAIN MICRO-CRACKING DUE TO INSUFFICIENT DRYING OF RAW MATERIALS PRIOR TO EXTRUSION.
THIS COULD CAUSE A FUEL LEAK, WHICH IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, MAY LEAD TO A FIRE AND INCREASED RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.
DUCATI WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL LINES FREE OF CHARGE.
