The short version

Starcraft Bus reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The affected vehicles have incorrect values for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and Gross Axle Weight Rating specified on the certification label. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

WHY IT MATTERS

A misprinted label could lead to improper vehicle loading. Improper loading could result in a tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Starcraft will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the buses by either providing a new certification label, adding additional suspension and upgrading the rear tires, or removing seats, free of charge.
