WHAT

In April 2013, Honda recalled 43,782 2012-2013 Honda Fit Sport vehicles. In July 2013, Honda informed the agency that it was adding model year 2012-2013 Honda Fit vehicles in base trim to the recall campaign, representing an additional 48,138 vehicles.

WHY IT MATTERS

Excessive yaw rates prevent the proper function of the electronic stability control (ESC) system, increasing the risk of a crash.
