The short version

Lion Bus Inc. reported a problem with the service brakes, hydraulic. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

Lion Bus, Inc. is recalling one model year 2014 360 bus manufactured in December 2012. Due to insufficient distance between the air compressor discharge line and the hydraulic brake line, the lines may chafe against each other resulting in a hole in the brake line.

WHY IT MATTERS

A brake line hole could result in a loss of brake fluid. The fluid loss could lengthen the stopping distance required thus increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Lion Bus will notify the owner and an Alliance Bus representative will modify the bus to ensure that there is adequate distance between the air compressor discharge line and the hydraulic brake line, free of charge.
