Setra bolted joint at the lower control arm in the rear axle could loosen due to a change in the manufacturing tightening method.
The short version
Setra of North America reported a problem with the power train axle assembly. Here is what owners need to know.
The bolted joint at the lower control arm in the rear axle could loosen due to a change in the manufacturing tightening method.
If the control arm loosens, it could reduce the driver's ability to control the direction of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Motor Coach Industries (MCI), the designated importer, will notify customers and will retorque the bolted connection, free of charge.
