Vermeer air brake hose may become pinched or chafed on the axle support plate.
The short version
Vermeer Manufacturing Company reported a problem with the service brakes, air. Here is what owners need to know.
The air brake hose may become pinched or chafed on the axle support plate.
As a result, the air brake line could become damaged, causing a loss of air pressure to the air brake system and a loss of service brakes or preventing the parking brake from releasing, increasing the risk of a crash.
Vermeer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the air brake hose clearance, free of charge.
