Spartan Erv are equipped with rotation interlock magnets that are attached by an adhesive.
The short version
Spartan ERV reported a problem with the equipment. Here is what owners need to know.
These vehicles are equipped with rotation interlock magnets that are attached by an adhesive. The adhesive degrades over time causing the magnets to detach.
Without properly positioned rotation interlock magnets, the aerial position cannot be properly tracked and if the outriggers are not fully deployed, the vehicle may become unstable, allowing it to roll over, causing personal injury.
Spartan has notified owners, and the rotation interlock magnets will be secured using mechanical fasteners, free of charge.
