Westward Industries due to a gap between the front brake caliper and the non-vented brake rotor, as the front brake pads become worn, they may be ejected resulting in a reduction of braking performance.
The short version
Westward Industries reported a problem with the service brakes, hydraulic. Here is what owners need to know.
Due to a gap between the front brake caliper and the non-vented brake rotor, as the front brake pads become worn, they may be ejected resulting in a reduction of braking performance.
Ejection of the front brake pads could lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Westward will notify owners, and dealers will replace the thin non-vented rotors with thicker vented rotors to reduce the gap between the caliper and rotor, free of charge.
