The short version

Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the appliance air conditioner. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The affected trailers are equipped with the roof AC option, eliminating the roof vent. As such, since the window does not open, there is inadequate venting for the gases emanating from the range.

WHY IT MATTERS

In the event of a situation where the propane gas continues to flow, if the gas range cannot vent, an ignition source may ignite the propane gas, resulting in a fire.

WHAT TO DO

Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the non-opening window with a window that opens, free of charge.
