The short version

Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The affected vehicles may have incorrect weight calculations on the cargo carrying capacity label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less."

WHY IT MATTERS

A vehicle operator could inadvertently overload the trailer due to the incorrect information, resulting in the trailer having tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will replace the certification label with a corrected certification label, free of charge.
