The short version

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA reported a problem with the power train manual transmission. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

WHY IT MATTERS

If the stopper fractures, the transmission may not shift properly, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Yamaha will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shift shaft assembly with a new one, free of charge.
