The short version
Forest River, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The affected vehicles, manufactured on a Ford 158" wheelbase chassis with a 5.4L V-8 engine, may have a Federal Certification label that lists an incorrect gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), gross axle weight rating (GAWR) and wrong cargo carrying capacity information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
With incorrect GVWR, GAWR, and cargo carrying capacity information, the operator may overload the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Forest River will notify owners and will provide replacement labels with the corrected information, free of charge.
