Spartan Motors Usa affected vehicles may be equipped with a Tire placard that indicates the wrong cargo capacity information.
The short version
Spartan Motors USA reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The affected vehicles may be equipped with a Tire placard that indicates the wrong cargo capacity information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
An incorrect label may result in the vehicle being overloaded which can cause tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
Utilimaster will notify owners and will send a label with the cargo capacity information corrected, free of charge.
