The short version

Forest River, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The tire pressure specification for the 5.30" x 12" Load Range C Tire is listed as 50 PSI instead of the correct tire pressure specification of 80 PSI. As a result, the subject vehicles have incorrectly stated Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) on the Federal Placard.

WHY IT MATTERS

Using the trailers to the loading specifications on the label while the tires are underinflated may result in sudden tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Forest River will notify owners and will provide Federal placard stickers with the correct PSI, GAWR, and GVWR, free of charge.
