Blue Bird are equipped with seats that may separate from the base frame due to bolt failure.
The short version
Blue Bird Body Company reported a problem with the seats. Here is what owners need to know.
These vehicles are equipped with seats that may separate from the base frame due to bolt failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
In the event of a crash, the seat can separate from the base frame, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the seats, free of charge.
