The short version

Pacific Coachworks reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

There may be an incorrect Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) value printed on the Federal Information label, allowing the vehicle to be over loaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheel and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

WHY IT MATTERS

If the vehicle was loaded to the incorrect CCC on the label, the vehicle would be overloaded, possibly causing tire failure, and increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Pacific Coachworks will notify owners, and dealers will issue a corrected Federal Information Tag with the correct CCC information, free of charge.
