Rosenbauer affected vehicles have Battalion air suspension seats that may separate from its base in a frontal collision.
The short version
Rosenbauer Motors reported a problem with the seats. Here is what owners need to know.
The affected vehicles have Battalion air suspension seats that may separate from its base in a frontal collision. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."
If the seat detaches from its base in the event of a crash, there is an increased risk of injury to the occupant.
Rosenbauer will notify owners, and dealers will attach two tethers from the seat to the cab, free of charge.
