Jayco affected vehicles were manufactured with Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) and Tire Labels indicating incorrect vehicle weight.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The affected vehicles were manufactured with Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) and Tire Labels indicating incorrect vehicle weight. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Incorrect weight on labels can allow the operator to overload the vehicle, affecting vehicle handling, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Jayco has notified the dealers that have the affected trailers and supplied them with corrected labels, free of charge.
