Eldorado National-Kansas intermediate side lamps may not stay illuminated when the headlights are on.
The short version
Eldorado National-Kansas reported a problem with the exterior lighting. Here is what owners need to know.
The intermediate side lamps may not stay illuminated when the headlights are on. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
If the side marker lamps do not stay illuminated when the headlights are activated, it can decrease the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Eldorado National will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the intermediate side lamps, replacing them as necessary, free of charge.
