Csc Motorcycles affected vehicles may not be equipped with a supplemental label that reminds the user to clean the brake reservoir before adding brake fluid and to use DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container.
The short version
csc Motorcycles, LLC reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The affected vehicles may not be equipped with a supplemental label that reminds the user to clean the brake reservoir before adding brake fluid and to use DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."
If the supplemental brake fluid label is missing, the operator may use an incorrect brake fluid which could damage the brake system and increase the risk of a crash.
CSC will notify owners and will provide the customer with the missing label, free of charge.
