Mercedes-Benz label on the B-pillar may state a higher maximum vehicle load capacity than the vehicle is designed for.
The short version
Daimler Vans USA, LLC reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The label on the B-pillar may state a higher maximum vehicle load capacity than the vehicle is designed for. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
If the load capacity information is incorrect on the label, the vehicle may be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
