Acg may have been built with windshields that do not have laminated glazing.
The short version
American Custom Golf Cars reported a problem with the visibility windshield. Here is what owners need to know.
These vehicles may have been built with windshields that do not have laminated glazing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 205, "Glazing Materials," and number 500, "Low Speed Vehicles."
In the event of a crash, if the non-laminated windshield shatters, it can increase the risk of injury.
ACG will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the windshield, replacing any that are not properly labeled AS-1 windshields, free of charge.
