The short version

Karma Automotive LLC reported a problem with the rearview mirrors/devices exterior. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The driver's side exterior rearview mirrors may be made with convex, not flat glass. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rearview Mirrors."

WHY IT MATTERS

When using the incorrect rearview mirrors, the driver may fail to realize how close a vehicle or object actually is, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will inspect the driver side exterior rearview mirror, replacing it as necessary, free of charge.
