These generator sets may have incorrectly wired remote emergency stop and remote start connections causing the remote stop to not function and shut down the generator as intended.
If the unit does not shut down as expected when the remote E-stop is activated, it can increase the risk of injury.
Cummins will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the remote E-stop function and, if necessary, repair or replace the remote E-stop/remote start switch panel, free of charge.
