The short version

Great Dane Trailers reported a problem with the service brakes. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

During manufacturing, the adjuster anchor pins may not have been properly tightened, causing the pins to loosen or detach.

WHY IT MATTERS

A detached anchor pin would cause the automatic brake adjusters to not properly adjust the brakes to compensate for brake pad wear. If not corrected, this could lead to reduced braking ability or loss of brakes, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Great Dane will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the anchor pin mounting bolts for the proper tightness, replacing any pins that are missing, free of charge.
