Forest River side marker lights are not located in the correct spot, reducing visibility of the vehicle to other drivers.
The short version
Forest River, Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting. Here is what owners need to know.
The side marker lights are not located in the correct spot, reducing visibility of the vehicle to other drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Reduced visibility of the fifth wheel can increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the vehicles, free of charge.
