Maserati headlights may be misadjusted above the maximum height allowed, possibly impairing other driver's visibility on the roadway.
The short version
Maserati North America, Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting headlights. Here is what owners need to know.
The headlights may be misadjusted above the maximum height allowed, possibly impairing other driver's visibility on the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Affecting the visibility of oncoming traffic can increase the risk of a crash.
Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will adjust the headlights, free of charge.
