The short version

WHAT

The weld on the retrofitted rear swing arm bracket may fail causing the rear swing arm, spare tire, and any other attached items to break away from the trailer frame.

WHY IT MATTERS

If the rear swing arm spare tire carrier bracket weld fails, the spare tire may separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

For customers not in the immediate region, the manufacturer will coordinate with a local welding repair shop to add the welds and reimburse the shop directly, free of charge.
