The short version

Ford Motor Company reported a problem with the windshield critical fasteners. Here is what owners need to know.

WHY IT MATTERS

In the event of a crash, if the windshield separates from the vehicle, it can increase the risk of injury.

WHAT TO DO

Ford will notify owners, and dealers will remove and reinstall the windshield, free of charge.
