Autocar headlight and windshield wiper wiring harness may become disconnected during operation.
The short version
Autocar, LLC reported a problem with the exterior lighting headlights. Here is what owners need to know.
The headlight and windshield wiper wiring harness may become disconnected during operation. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment", and 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems."
A disconnected headlight and windshield wiper wiring harness can cause a sudden loss of headlight and windshield wiper function, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Autocar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the wiring harness routing, and repair or replace it as necessary, free of charge.
