Braun Ambulances locking pin assembly in the sliding attendant seat may fail under certain loading conditions.
The short version
Braun Ambulances reported a problem with the seats critical fasteners. Here is what owners need to know.
The locking pin assembly in the sliding attendant seat may fail under certain loading conditions. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
If the locking pin fails, the occupant may not be sufficiently restrained during a crash, increasing the risk of an injury.
Braun will notify owners and dealers will replace the locking pin assembly, free of charge.
