The short version

Ducati North America reported a problem with the exterior lighting turn signal. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The front and rear turn signal lights may not flash brightly enough. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Turn signal lights that aren't bright enough can reduce other driver's ability to see that the turn signals have been activated, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will replace the front and rear turn signals, free of charge.
