The short version

Shyft Group reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The Tire and Loading Information placard incorrectly states a seating capacity of one, although the actual seating capacity is two. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

WHY IT MATTERS

Incorrect seating capacity information may cause the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will install new placards, free of charge.
