Lamborghini in temperatures below 41°F, the rearview camera may not display due to a software error in the infotainment system.
The short version
Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) reported a problem with the back over prevention display function. Here is what owners need to know.
In temperatures below 41°F, the rearview camera may not display due to a software error in the infotainment system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.
