The short version

Dennis Eagle Inc. reported a problem with the electrical system instrument cluster/panel. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The instrument cluster warning light may falsely indicate that an exterior vehicle light is not illuminated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays" and 125, "Warning Devices."

WHY IT MATTERS

The false warning light could prevent the detection of an actual light failure, reducing visibility to other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge.
