Prevost Car (Us) one bolt that secures the rear bench seat frame to the body of the vehicle was not installed during the manufacturing process.
The short version
Prevost Car (US) Inc. reported a problem with the seats critical fasteners. Here is what owners need to know.
One bolt that secures the rear bench seat frame to the body of the vehicle was not installed during the manufacturing process. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
During a crash, the rear seats could separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of an injury.
Take it to a dealer — they will install the missing bolt, free of charge.
