The short version

DRV Suites reported a problem with the exterior lighting tail lights. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The tail, stop, and turn lights may have been incorrectly placed, with the top portion of the lights above 72 inches high. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Incorrectly placed rear lights may reduce vehicle visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will inspect the light heights, and install additional lights as necessary, free of charge.
