Jayco dinette rear and forward-facing seat belts have the incorrect brackets installed, which can cause the brackets to loosen.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the seat belts critical fasteners. Here is what owners need to know.
The dinette rear and forward-facing seat belts have the incorrect brackets installed, which can cause the brackets to loosen. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
During a crash, loose seat belt brackets may not restrain the passenger as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the seat belt brackets, free of charge.
