Novabus taillights may fail to illuminate when the headlights are activated.
The short version
Nova Bus (US) Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting tail lights. Here is what owners need to know.
The taillights may fail to illuminate when the headlights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Taillights that fail to illuminate may reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Nova Bus will update the vehicle software, free of charge.
