Jeep air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard.
The short version
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirement Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Without a label that shows the proper restraint usage guidelines, the occupants may have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will inspect unsold vehicles and install the required label, as necessary, free of charge.
