The short version

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC reported a problem with the electrical system instrument cluster/panel. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The interior turn signals may flash too quickly and not align with the exterior turn signal flashing. Interior turn signals that consistently flash too quickly may not change their flash rate to alert the driver to replace the bulbs.

WHY IT MATTERS

A nonfunctioning exterior turn signal may not notify other drivers of a turning vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will update the turn signal indicator software, free of charge.
