Prevost Car (Us) right front turn signal light may fail when the turn signal or hazard warning lights are activated.
The short version
Prevost Car (US) Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting turn signal. Here is what owners need to know.
The right front turn signal light may fail when the turn signal or hazard warning lights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
An inoperative front turn signal may not notify other drivers of a turning vehicle, while inoperative hazard warning lights reduce the vehicle visibility to other drivers, both increasing the risk of a crash.
Prevost will install enhanced headlight wiring that includes additional resistors, free of charge.
