Ford parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated.
The short version
Ford Motor Company reported a problem with the exterior lighting lighting control module. Here is what owners need to know.
The parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Flickering parking lights can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will update the LED driver module software, free of charge.
