Pierce Manufacturing bumper may partially obstruct the rear lights.
The short version
Pierce Manufacturing reported a problem with the body bumpers. Here is what owners need to know.
The bumper may partially obstruct the rear lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Partially obstructed rear lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Pierce will reposition the lights, free of charge.
