The short version

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC reported a problem with the exterior lighting turn signal. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

In the event that one of the turn signals stops working, the turn signal flash rate frequency will not adjust to warn the driver that a turn signal is not working correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Inoperative rear turn signals may not notify other drivers of a turning vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will update the Car Configuration File (CCF) software, free of charge.
