The short version

General Motors, LLC reported a problem with the tires. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

Incorrect tires may have been installed that do not match the tire label, and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) may provide inaccurate information for the installed tires. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."

WHY IT MATTERS

A tire label that does not accurately reflect the installed tires may result in the installation of incorrectly sized tires. In addition, the TPMS may not warn the driver of a drop in tire pressure.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge.
