Driverge Vehicle Innovations recliner mechanism may not engage when the seat back is fully reclined.
The short version
Driverge Vehicle Innovations reported a problem with the seats. Here is what owners need to know.
The recliner mechanism may not engage when the seat back is fully reclined. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The seat back could release when force is applied to the shoulder belt, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Driverge will work with the equipment manufacturer to inspect and repair the seats as necessary, free of charge.
